Rolling dies

Rolling Dies are used to generate the tapered marks on internal teeth of synchronizing rings, ensuring coupling. They work by pressure and generate plastic deformation with the double tapered shape. These tools are designed paying special attention to the high mechanical load they are submitted to.

The factors to be considered in their manufacture are an adequate choice of materials and a strict heat treatment control, as well as the quality of its finished surface (100% of the surface area is ground).
